Stargazer - Palisander Pinot Noir
From the celebrated Palisander Vineyard in the Tea Tree sub-region of the Coal River Valley, Stargazer Palisander Pinot Noir is a striking expression of cool-climate Pinot by Samantha Connew. The vineyard’s brown dermosol soils atop Jurassic dolerite lend minerality and saline tension to this wine. On the nose it offers aromas of wild strawberry, sour cherry, pomegranate, rosehip, subtle clove and green peppercorn spice, wrapped in touches of pressed wildflowers and hoisin. The palate is tight and nervy, with layered tannins, vibrant red fruits, bright acid lift, and a long mineral-saline finish.
- Varietal: Pinot Noir
- Region: Derwent Valley, TAS
- Vintage: 2024
- ABV: 13%
