Robert Groffier's 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées has a lovely bouquet that exudes Pinot. Pure and delineated, with seamlessly integrated oak - this elegant red skirts Premier Cru in quality. The palate is medium-bodied with tart red fruit and a slight herbaceous edge on the finish. An utterly absorbing Gevrey-Chambertin which is proving to be in a different league than the previous (though still excellent) vintage.
