The Tessari Soave is 80% Gargagnega and 20% Trebbiano and offers pronounced aromatics and a generous palate. The organically farmed fruit is hand-harvested and carbonic-macerated for 3 hours before being pressed off skins and completing fermentation with ambient yeasts then matured in tank for 3 months before bottling. There is plenty of white-blossom, orchard fruits, nectarine and flinty minerality on the nose which translates to the palate – a soave for the clean chardonnay drinker, dare I say Meursault-like, for the price the quality and value of the Tessari Soave is undeniable.
