From the Barrecas vineyard in Donnybrook Western Australia. The 2023 vintage was ideal for red grapes. Cool wet winter and spring, then a warm, dry summer. The wine is ripe, but was picked with freshness remaining in the grapes, giving perfumed aromatics. The palate is slick and juicy with blackberry notes and hints of spice and cedar from its time in French oak. Enjoy now and up to 7-10 years.
